Ugh. This weekend was an all-out disaster. For no good reason. Friday started out pretty well. I knew I was going drinking with some friends so I made sure to watch what I ate all day and had a good carby dinner to help suck up the drinks. The drinking itself wasn't my usual clean & low-point vodka/sodas though...there were ciders, beers, shooters....too much. I did however avoid the 3am pizza stop. In fact, I just came home and went to bed like a good girl.Saturday was hangover day. Stupid shooters. So the food started out just fine because mostly I wasn't feeling too hungry. When I did eat it was a carefully planned egg salad bagel and juice. Later I started to crave the ultimate hangover meal from McD's but even then I talked myself into the chicken nuggets and fries in my freezer instead. Still within my daily points. Later though I got into the snacks and it all went to hell from there. Mostly I just felt super guilty about missing my big Saturday workout. I had been looking forward to really focusing on some strength training and working on my running again, but I didn't do a damn thing. I blame the shooters.Sunday I woke up with the best intentions. Warm yoga day! So I was careful with my early eating, choosing to take in lots of water, yogurt, and a bagel-sandwich to tide me through the early afternoon. Of course, then I went out to run errands which ended up taking much longer than planned and I didn't make it back in time to get to yoga. Booooo. Also, I decided to make that cabbage casserole, which took over 2 hours to cook so dinner was crazy late and the snackfest that ensued while I waited was ridiculously over the top. I had stopped at Bulk Barn for barley and ended up leaving with a few other things, including stupid Valentine's jujubes...that store is a hazard. All in all a bad, guilt ridden weekend for me. Up 2.6 pounds this morning. Serves me right.I just can't seem to get this whole plan thing to stick. No matter what the current plan happens to be. I never used to go nuts on weekends unless there was something specific on the agenda...and then for the most part I was planning for it. I rarely missed weekend activity plans unless FH was home and we had something on the go. What a slump I'm in!!Anyway, on the upside I got lots of fresh groceries this weekend and the cabbage casserole turned out pretty good. Next time it would need more seasoning and less barley, but otherwise all good....and it made about 10 portions so I have lots to freeze. This week I have a lot of choices from the freezer for dinner...all of which can be paired with fresh salads and veggies.Today's plan...Gym: after work...45 minutes cardio, crunches, bum exercises, arm strengthMenu:- coffeeeeeee- 100 cal cottage cheese cup (pineapple) with 1/2 banana- leftover beef stew- baby carrots & homemade onion dip- 1/2 banana bread Larabar before gym- cabbage casserole, tossed salad with "goddess dressing"- kiwi with Liberte Svelt vanilla yogurt- tea (I finally found the Stash decaf vanilla nut!)(approx 22 points)
Who was I kidding with my declaration of Jan-2nd restart? It's the weekend and we were snowed in for a day. Ya-Ya, I'm making excuses I suppose...but man, this is damn hard. I haven't weighed in yet. I think I have a mental block about weighing in on a day other than a Monday. Plus, I forgot and I refuse to do it at the end of the day.Hmm....who let Negative Nelly in here?I'm sure it was me, but I don't remember opening the door. Hmmm....health awareness specific dementia is setting in I think.Must. Stop. It. Now.
Yesterday did NOT go as planned. And for no reason other than ME. I just didn't have the wherewithall to stick to my plan. The morning workouts are a bad idea. I just can't pull them off unless DBF is home and I am forced to get out of bed and drive him. When he's not, I barely even wake up when the alarm is going off. I should know better. And Wednesdays I always wind up working late so it makes it that much more difficult to find the time and energy to hit the gym. Grrrr. So that's what happened....slept in, then worked late, so by the time I had dinner and ran the few errands I had to do it was like 8pm and the gym just wasn't gonna happen. Meh.My menu plan started out well...as it always does...but fell apart in the evening. Something about the cold weather makes me want to eat. At least I think that's it. Although that's probably more of a convenient excuse than anything. haha. Who knows, but either way I totally blew the day last night. So, try try again today right? I didn't even pretend that I was going to the gym this morning. Thankfully Thursdays are much more productive workwise so hopefully I can get myself there right at the end of the day before it starts getting dark and the TV calls to me. I have a bazillion chores to do around here too, so if I can just keep motivated and chugging along the gym will actually be a nice reprieve from a very full day.In my attempt to stick with groceries I have on hand, I've been making smoothies the last couple of mornings. We had the soy milk and a bunch of extra bananas because I thought DBF would use them when he was home for the weekend, but he was so happy not to have Navy food that he chose to enjoy what he ate instead of forcing his diet food on himself. Fair enough. This left me with a lot of perishable items to use up though. Yesterday I did one with banana/raspberries/flax...today was banana/blueberry minus the flax...both made with vanilla soy milk. Totally yummy, but not quite filling enough. I think tomorrow I might add half a bagel or something.Anyway, I keep falling down at night and picking myself up during the day. Hopefully I can work through this (but the sleepover this weekend will not help!). Someone please remind me that I'm supposed to feel guilty when eating a big bowl of cheezies!!Today's plan:- blueberry/banana smoothie- coffee- mixed greens salad with chickpeas & ranch dressing- granola bar- apple with natural pb- chili from the freezer with roasted baby spuds/onions/mushrooms- grapes if I need a snack later
Ugh, even after that post this morning, and a pretty decent food day....by the time afternoon hit I just felt like crap and my eating went that way too.You know...I said to someone the other day (sorry I don't remember who!) that Day 3 is the hump. If I could just get through three days OP, I think I could hang on. But this one day on/one day off crap is just killing me.The weather is shit today. Grey, wet and gloomy...which is not helping my mood. I'm still totally exhausted from my terrible sleep last night and it's caused a headache that will just not go away. I didn't feel like cooking so dinner was a bowl of cereal (even with those lovely prawns all ready to go) which I followed with a whackload of peanuts and then some toast with cheese. Like, what the hell? None of that made me feel any better. Now I just feel guilty on top of everything else.Gah.I'm going to drink some water, make some tea, have a shower, and try to go to bed early.
That's what I'm calling it. The cocktail of junk food that I consume when I am depressed or otherwise emotionally exhausted. Cheetos - salty carb groupMike n Ikes - fruity candy groupBridge Mix - chocolate satisfaction groupI make a little bowl of each and eat them until I have a tummy ache. It's a ridiculous ritual brought on over the years, but it's my ritual and aside from admitting it here I am not going to dwell on it. I'm soaking it down with a ton of water and will recover from it when the bag of Cheetos is empty. What I really want is to slather it all in KFC gravy, but I'll hold off on that particular sodium disaster....for now.
Good: I had a huge salad for dinner.Bad: There was cheesecake in our fridge, leftover from our party.Ugly: There is no longer cheesecake in our fridge, but there is lots in my tummy. You know what's stupid. I'm not even that big of a cheesecake fan. If that box had been closed and in the freezer I never would have given it a second thought. But because DBF opened it and it was staring me in the face, I just couldn't pass it up.Boooooo.
Total free-for-all, no holds barred weekend. WTF?! Sometimes you would never know that I am actually knowlegable about nutrition, portion control and mindless snacking. Sometimes you would never know that I have willpower and know how to use it. Sometimes you would never know that I have a gym membership that I usually like to use.Well, it's over. And the scale has leaped back up to 157lbs. Up exactly the same 3.4lbs I had lost last week. WHEN WILL I LEARN?!!So DBF left this morning for ONE MONTH at sea. Booooo. The only upside to it is that for the next four weeks I don't have to worry about planning "family" meals. I can focus on ME ME ME. I can eat more salads, I can skip red meat, I can work out every day if I feel like it. Look out world, watch me goooooooooooooo! He had to be at work early this morning, so I ended up with extra gym time so did extra cardio to get my week off on the right foot. I'm going to change my strength days to Tues/Thurs/Sat instead of Mon/Wed/Sat just for something to do. I need to shake up my routine in order to get me motivated to go in the mornings. I will sit down tonight and write myself a weekly schedule for gym and activity, as well as work on combining my two strength training routines into one power-routine. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. After the gym I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some fruit and granola bars. I found new All Bran bars....Cinnamon Oatmeal & Chocolate Chip. Same NI at the original and Honey Nut. My menus for the next couple of days will definitely be "clean out the fridge" menus as we had a party this weekend and there are remnants that need to be eaten up. I really need to stop loading up the fridge right before DBF goes away!So today.....- water- Bolthouse Berry Burst Smoothie- coffee- All Bran Bar (choc chip, pretty tasty!)- lunch will be homemade spinach artichoke dip (a variation of Hungry Girl's recipe) with crackers, carrots & orange pepper strips- blueberries & strawberries with a bit of yogurt- dinner will involve a huge-ass salad with real cheddar- hummus with crackers- grapes or cherries- teaMy workout...- Treadmill: 5 minute incline warm-up, running 2 mins each @ 3.5, 4.5, 5, 5.5, then repeated, 5 minute cooldown- Elliptical: interval program, 2 mins @ level 4 - 2 mins @ level 10, repeats for 20 minutes, 5 minute cooldown- various strength exercises...calf raises, squats, side bends, planks
Why is that we can be so defiant sometimes? Yesterday I just kept playing the same tune in my head over and over...."I'm a big girl. I get to decide what I want. And today I decide that it's OK to "treat" myself." Who am I freaking kidding? I "treated" myself to death yesterday...and did nothing to earn the treats (except maybe the whole only 2 hours of sleep thing might have earned me something for being a loving girlfriend).Just to lay it out on the table.... "Defiant Thursday" went something like this:- large Tim's coffee (single, single)- honey cruller- coffee at home- Liberte Svelt vanilla yogurt with blueberries (trying to make up for the donut)- bowl of leftover ripple chips with onion dip (the dip was made with light sour cream but I ate at least three servings of it and probably four servings of the chips)- bag of Mike n Ikes- dinner started out OK....tuna sammich on BM bagel with mushroom soup made with skim milk....but I ate the whole can of soup and fell like ass afterwards.- then the piece du resistance: DQ Blizzard. Medium. Smarties with extra Smarties.- I know there was a couple of other things throughout the day that I'm just forgetting now too.Remind me that I truly felt like a huge, oinky, lactose intolerant pig last night. (I'm not lactose intolerant that I know of but every time I indulge in ice cream in the evening I wind up with an upset stomach.)Obviously today I'm trying to be less defiant. I guess it's good that I felt like shit when I went to bed because I woke up with a renewed sense of wanting to feel good.So....today's plan is:- OJ- coffee- Liberte Svelt vanilla yogurt with bananas and blueberries- plum- leftover tuna salad on crackers- cukes & baby carrots with hummus- other 1/2 of banana- maybe a Fibre Source bar if I need it- grilled pork loin chop with sauteed onions, some kind of spud, steamed brocolli- grapes- tea and Lifestyle Blueberry cookies (these are new!) if I'm so inclinedI haven't been to the gym since Monday, but I don't really have time today so I'll try to get out for a walk for sure. Here's to not feeling like ass!Update: I forgot we are going to the movies tonight (Batman!) so I will be bringing my trusty water bottle and maybe my grapes to the theatre with me. Go me!
So, don't even ask about yesterday. Worked late, no gym, weather was ass so no walk either. Followed up all that non-activity with a little coffee date with DBF, which was great! But it ended with a quick stop at WalMart for DBF to get some ice cream...which wouldn't affect me, but did lead me back to the candy and chips. Argh. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.DBF has today off, so again no reason to get up and go to the gym. Mhmmmm. I wonder how I'm going to motivate myself to get up when he's gone for the whole month of August. At least then I will work out more out of boredom. I am trying to power through work right now so we can attempt to hit up some camping. We tried to book a place yesterday, but since I last looked on Tuesday the place totally filled up...so now we are just taking a chance that the more local location will still have a spot for us when we get there. Probably a risky maneuver on a Friday, but so be it.I have no menu plan for today... I'll stick to my usually healthy eats for breakfast and lunch, and I'm guessing it will be smokies and smores tonight. :) I am taking my good shoes and plan to do a ton of walking over the weekend. And I'm not packing any freaking candy!Happy Friday all!
I'm officially at the heaviest I've been in at least 6 months. I just looked back through my calendar and nowhere between now and January have I ever gone over the 156lb mark (usually not over 154 if I can help it).....today I am 156.4...boooooooooooooooooo!! My maintenance is supposed to be under 155...my goal was 150, but my body is generally it's happiest at 152-153. Meh. So at least 3 pounds need to take a hike...like NOW!We had a fun weekend, with LOTS of tasty eats and far too much wine....but today I am back on the straight and narrow. Most of the extra cheese and treats and such have vacated the building (mainly because we ate it at like 11:00 last night!) so aside from a couple of pieces of pizza there isn't too much left to taunt me. I will fit in one piece of pizza as my lunch...and honestly don't care if the rest goes to the trashcan.I already hit the gym this morning, so that's a great motivational start! I did a sweaty power-walk with random inclines on the treadmill for 25 minutes, followed by a 10 minute random hill ride on the recumbant bike (with a 3 minute cooldown), and a complete set of my strength training routine. I really pushed myself today and was able to up the weights on two more of the exercises. My exercise was non-existant for the long weekend and I'm determined to make it up this week....shouldn't be a problem. :)On the way home from the gym, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some fresh produce, dairy, lean meats, etc so there are no excuses for dinners and snacks for the next few days. My friends the fresh fruits have returned and I am sooooo on them! I'll be keeping them company with lots of water....and laying off the booze until I can rehydrate and knock off at least a pound or two...sun or no sun I can drink Coke Zeros with fresh lemons and limes if I need a bevvie on the deck! And my final hurrah for today is that I stopped for my Starbucks treat after shopping, and I only got a coffee. No latte. No Doubleshot. No tasteless baked good. Just good old coffee! Yaaieeeee!Today's healthy, yummy, super-duper menu plan:- 1 litre water already down- 1/2 of a Satisfibre Express natural blueberry bar- coffeeeeeeeeeeeee- plum- 1% cottage cheese with pineapple tidbits & chopped orange- lunch will be one slice of leftover Costco pizza with another full litre of water- last of the cherries and 1 apricot- baby carrots if I need another snack- dinner is chicken breasts marinated Asian style grilled on the BBQ, served with steamed asparagus with sesame oil, and that yummy Asian slaw. oh, and another litre of water.- evening snack...either a creamsicle or blackberries with vanilla yogurtWoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Yup, so yesterday I ended up falling off track... I let DBF convince me that we should order Chinese for dinner. He had an early day, and an afternoon of beer in the sun with the boys, so he was determined. I could have just stuck with my turkey burger, but I did a mental calculation and the points difference wasn't all that bad so I went for it. I had one egg roll, and three chicken balls, but other than that I stuck with mostly veggies...mmmmm, Gai Ding!
I sure felt the sodium this morning though!
So I got up and dragged my salt-loaded, tired behind to the gym. I did a full hour of sweaty, heart pumping cardio...and although I was wicked tired, I felt great and was very proud of myself for getting it done.
I did:
Treadmill: on random, level 10, varying speeds (20 mins, + 1 min cooldown)
Elliptical Crossramp: on intervals, level 4 resistance 10 and level 10 resistance 5 (20 mins, + 1 min cooldown)
Recumbant Bike: random hills, level 8, moderate speed (15 mins, + 3 min cooldown)
The best part was that I got to add 10.9km to my June personal challenge. I am so gonna make it to my goal!!
Honestly, I don't really have a menu plan today. That is unusual for me, but I've had a rough few days and I just need to not think about it. So far I gave in to a Starbucks apple cinnamon bun, but it actually really filled me up so I think it will work out OK. I also had my yummy new fave bevvie...a grande SB vanilla DoubleShot on Ice. But I stopped at the store on the way home for LOTS of fruit and more of that Liberte yogurt that I'm addicted to. So I'll fill my afternoon out with cherries, plums, apricots and lots of water....because we all know it will be leftover Chinese for din-din. :)
Can I just say TGIF?!! Hope you all have good plans for the weekend. We are hoping the sun comes back tomorrow cuz we're going to do a lazy roadtrip day and check out some potential camping spots. It's about time we started exploring our new surroundings. :)
Yesterday was a total bust. Like, a bomb. Big time. Rollover from the weekend I guess, but I really have no excuse. I didn't go to the gym. I didn't walk the dog. I definitely didn't stick to the menu plan. In fact, I ate ALL of the treats at the movies (I bought two boxes of candy for me and DBF...but he didn't want his so I ate it) plus we shared a huge-ass root beer. And then....to top that....I ate like half a bag of chips when we got home. For no apparent reason, other than they were there and I was somewhat bored.I HATE THAT.So, today is a new day, right??At least I chose to get up early and drive DBF to work. I haven't had the opportunity to do that much lately so I was all over it this time. At the gym by 7:20...woooooooooooooo!! Got in a good sweaty set of sprint intervals on the treadmill and an extra sweaty strength training session (and even got a couple of pointers from my trainer who just happened to be there). So now, I just need to hold on to this motivation and stay on my menu plan for today. DBF is working tonight so I'll have to find something to keep me busy and keep my mind off snacking and watching too much TV tonight. Hopefully the weather clears up, cuz it's wet and dismal right now.The menu plan that I will stick to today:- pre-gym: 1/2 Fibre Source granola bar- post-gym: other 1/2- coffee (NSV...stopped at Starbucks and ordered just a regular coffee...no latte!)- 1% cottage cheese mixed with crushed pineapple- leftover tossed salad with Newman's Italian dressing- PC BM bagel with light Laughing Cow wedge & sliced tomato- nectarine- cheese string & baked Ritz crisps- Coke Zero if I start to crave sweets- 1 Greek chicken kabob, steamed baby carrots, cucumber salad (sliced mini cukes & red onions with light mayo, s&p)- grapes- either SmartPop or 100 cal pack organic cookies- peppermint teaapprox 22 points out of 22 (not eating APs today to try to help make up for last night...)
What the hell is wrong with me?!! Argh. Does a huge sugar craving mean you are lacking something else in your diet???
You see that menu in yesterday's post? So did not happen. (This happens often...great plan, not so great execution). First problem was that I forgot my granola bar when I went shopping, so instead of my iced latte I wound up with a triple grande no-fat vanilla latte and a hunk of chocolate chip banana cake thingy (apparently reduced fat, but still about 6 points!). At least the latte was only 1 point more than originally planned...and I don't feel guilty about getting an extra point worth of skim milk. But I really didn't need that banana thing...could have made it home, or could have just bought something better at the grocery store. Stupid impulse eating. (On a bright note, it was freaking tasty and moist so at least it was somewhat worth it...)So, rather than let the day get out of hand as I normally would, I came home with my new groceries and wrote out a new plan. On paper. In red ink. Right beside me on my desk. This is what I actually ate:- the latte (3)- the evil banana cake (6)- Liberte Moka yogurt (2), 1/2 banana (1), 1/4 cup All Bran (0)- 1/2 cup raspberries & blackberries (1)- baby carrots w/ hummus (2)- sammich on yummy fresh thin-sliced multigrain bread: 2 oz light cheddar, spinach, tomatoes, mustard, 1 tsp light Miracle Whip (6)- chopped tomatoes & cukes marinated in 1 tbsp Newman's Own Italian dressing, served over spinach, with 1 oz shredded part-skim mozzarella (2)- Kashi granola bar (2)- 1 cup new Kashi Honey Almond Flax Crunchy cereal (4)- with skim milk (1)Total = approx 30 points....much better than the runaway train I started out on. With my high intensity trainer session, I'd say I landed right where I should on the menu/points.As for my workout.... not sure that my mojo has returned, but at least with my trainer there I pushed harder than I might have on my own. Downside is that I was only with her for an hour so we didn't make it through three full sets of my new routine. I probably should have stayed afterwards and finished up on my own, but such is life. At least the new routine seems more fun....likely because I'm just bored with the old routine, but who cares why! I did get to add 3.9km to my distance challenge and another ladybug sticker to my calendar. :)
This seems to be a common theme among a lot of us lately....Where has my workout Mojo gone? I was kicking ass...then went on vacation, then got sick...now it's a struggle to get myself to the gym. I don't have to drive DBF to work in the morning these days, and that has led to my sleeping in instead of getting in my awesome morning workouts. Booo. Then afternoon comes and I'm either too busy with work or too lazy to drag my arse over there. Double boooo.Tonight I have my final session with my trainer, and for the longest time I was thinking how great I had done and how fab she would think I was doing, but now not so much. Sure, my strength training has progressed, but I've stopped doing a couple of the things in my routine (because I HATE them....and I refuse to hate my workout) and my cardio has really suffered from being sick. She's going to wonder what the hell I've been doing for the past 3 months. At least she is giving me a new routine tonight, so I can switch it up. Maybe that's the key. I need something new to get me back into my groove. Let's hope so!!
Meh. Up 1.4 pounds today. The scale tells me 155, which is as high as I ever like to get. Boooooo. Not surprising based on yesterday though. It was a lazy day, I was tired as all hell, didn't do much of anything. Didn't make it to the gym, managed to finish off the Ben & Jerry's, shared a chocolate bar with DBF, and ate McD's for dinner. Not a shining day for me.Today is a new day!!- water- coffee- water- Kashi Crunch w/ vanilla Almond Breeze- strawberries- water- tuna salad (tuna, light mayo, green onion) on light rye Wasa- baby carrots, sliced cukes- sparkling water with lemon- 1/2 banana- GYM- Kashi granola bar (choc/cherry)- water, water, water- chicken & veggie skewers, Italian herb & olive oil marinade, brown rice, skim milk- tea- grapes (if feeling snacky)Edit: Gym RecapTreadmill: - 5 min warmup- 15 minutes sprint intervals (30 sec sprints @ 7mph, 1 min recoveries @ 4mph)- 4 min cooldown (I got impatient...haha)Strength Training (minus reverse lunges and back extensions, but added step ups on the bosu and calf raises)Recumb Bike:- 10 mins on level 5, randomTravelled 6.6km today!
So last night's plan for salad and chicken didn't work out. You all knew it wouldn't. I never order salad in a restaurant...well, hardly ever anyway. We went to The Fife & Drum and their menu was so damn boring. They did offer some sort of lame mixed greens with chicken, but I think I yawned when I read it so I ordered the fish & chips. Not bad, but let's just say I won't eat there again. On the upside, they did have Strongbow cider! Not good on the calorie front, but it's hard to find here for some reason so I had two! I got home and wasn't tired, so those damn Cheetos called my name. Gah.
Anyway, today is the day for re-grouping and getting ready to start our Eight Week Summer Challenge tomorrow. I'm so excited!!! Eight Healthy Guidelines, here I come!
Here's the big plan for today:

- garlic toasted bun
- blackberries & ff Vanilla yogurt
22/22+3AP
Guidelines:
F&V: 7/5
Whole Grains: bagel yes, bun no
Dairy: 2/2
Oil: yes
Protein: 2/2
Sugar/Booze: all good
Vitamins: multi, C, calcium
Water: 3 litres
Activity: Longest walk on the BLT Trail I can manage with the doggie. (3)
OMG. I'm so full. Let me just say that the Risotto Croquettes are friggin amazing. However, paired with a salad they would have made a meal. I followed mine with the yummy halibut...and it was way too much food. Of course, I still managed to cram dessert in there too. How is it even possible? I loved every minute of it, but now I feel like a beached whale.I think Friday might not be rest day from the gym. If this yummy dinner isn't still weighing me down I can see at least a power walk in my future.
Ugh is right. What is up with me lately? Last night I was full to the brim with my yummy homemade burger. So much so that I had to really talk myself into finishing my salad. But for some reason, while we were out getting movies I had this incredible craving for DQ. We almost made it past, but at the last minute I told DBF to turn. All my doing!I really wanted the Tin Roof Brownie Blizzard again...and when the girl said they were out of brownies I really should have said forget it and left...because I didn't really have the craving for anything else. But once you are in DQ, do you leave with nothing? I don't think so! So I ordered my old standby of a Smarties Blizzard...at least I only ordered a small since I wasn't all that excited about it.But even though it wasn't exciting and I was still full from dinner, I still managed to cram that thing in me. And it was only OK. Sorta boring. I probably would have been happier with the cookies and tea we had planned. I hate that. Then DBF went to bed early, and I wasn't tired so I stayed up to watch Big Brother and Law & Order SVU. But of course this led to more snacking....a random chocolate bar, a couple of those damn cookies, and SmartPop w/ butter. WTF? Maybe it's because I know DBF is going away this weekend and I plan to be totally OP while he is gone for the next couple of weeks. My brain always thinks it's easier to stay on plan when he's not around (even though it's rarely his ideas that throw me off the track)...and I think I'm mentally sabotaging myself because I know that as of Saturday I'm on my own. Who knows?I didn't even walk the poor dog yesterday. So all that extra crap in my system, plus no activity. Booooo for that. Today will be better!
Snack-o-rama is right! Boooooooo! It's one of those days where the nice weather turned to rain, and the house was cold, and work was busy and then boring, and and and....I never should have gone downstairs because now I've had myself a ridiculous little pantry binge. Stupid popcorn, stupid chocolate bar, stupid Handi-snack. Stupid!!!
