Playfair Park

The little Miss Chibi and I get bored walking down the street to our same old park all of the time.  Michael suggested I try walking over to another nearby park to check out their amazing Rhododendrons instead!

Playfair Park is a little far for us to walk on a work day so we drove over but did enjoy a quick stroll through the absolutely amazing Rhodos and then a heart pumping walk up the hills of the residential area around the park.

Probably a better place for a picnic rather than a workout walk but still one of the most beautiful hidden gems in all of Victoria.  Lovely!

What a lovely reminder of how beautiful it is out there right now. It makes me want to climb right back on that plane.

I'm sorry to say the Moderne burger was not spectacular. The decor was very funky and retro but the burger just didn't do it for me. So like the committed consumers we are we decided to give it another go and went to Romers in Burnaby the next day. And it was unbelievably great! Definitely go next time you are in Van. There's one on 4th Ave too. I had the man's man burger lol. Tasty! Oh and fries sprinkled with garlic..... mmmmmmmmmm!
