No Breathing Room

Tis the season for craziness I suppose!

Today was..

Wake-up, drink coffee…

IMG_7050

Return of the egg nog for my half-caf!

Work, eat breakfast…

IMG_7051

Whole wheat English muffin with organic peanut butter and honey drizzle…with black grapes.

Work, run errands… Silly Santa wasn’t in his throne!

IMG_7058

Eat lunch, and work…conference call day…

IMG_7062 IMG_7063

Two hummus & veggie wraps. Note to self:  Pete’s Frootique does NOT make good hummus.  I had to choke these down.  Bummer.

Work, eat snack…

IMG_7064

TJ’s peanut butter pretzels and some chocolate.  Remember those evil little Halloween pumpkins?  Well they have Santa cousins!  bwahahaha.

Talk to Mom on phone.   Finish work.  Reheat leftovers for dinner.  I’m a nice girl so I gave FH the leftover pork tenderloin.  But don’t worry I got half of the leftover mashed potatoes.  :)

IMG_7066

Strange sounding combo but I was working with leftovers so I topped my reheated taters with sauteed zucchini & black beans…and sprinkled with old white cheddar.

Cheese makes everything better!

It was actually really good!!

Did dishes, finished putting up Christmas decorations, put away Christmas boxes, washed Christmas glassware.

Now I think it’s time to get a head start on the baking for Friday’s Halibloggers cookie exchange.  nom nom nom!

That sucks about the bad hummus. I have never encountered such a thing :(.

Strange for Pete's Frootique to have something bad! Maybe they'll give you something better for free (tell them you'll blog about it! haha).

Is your village Department 56? (Or is it 57?) I have a Dicken's village, which I add to every year. This year I can't plug anything in...there are so many plugs, I think I'd blow it all up using european voltage/Russian wiring. I'm still planning to get another Dicken's "house" when I go to the States in a couple of weeks. Hey, is that a hockey rink I see? Very Canadian!

I'm with you on the cheese making everything better. And I'd happily skip meat in favor of cheese. :)

Wow...bad hummus I've never thought that would happen...

I love your Christmas village...I'll have to take a picture of my Dad's for you...140 houses and about 1000 little pieces...from a working skating pond and ski lift to a train that goes in a tunnel and around the bend (My Uncle built him a support system for it)
