POM Wonderful

pom-wonderful-hammock

Recently, I was contacted by POM Wonderful and asked if I would like to receive a sample package of their products for review.  I jumped at the chance!!  I love me some healthy, free swag!  Unfortunately because I’m in Canada they can’t send actual product (typical!) so instead offered up some coupons for free products that I can purchase here.  WooT!

Along with my coupons, POM included a few pages of product and health information.  A few highlights are:

  • The only brand guaranteed to contain 100% authentic pomegranate juiceAll-natural and contains no added sugars, preservatives, colors or cheap filler juices.
  • We grow our own fruit, pick it by hand, squeeze it with our own proprietary presses and even manufacture our own bottles!  We never use imported juices (California grown!).
  • Wonderfulis the variety of pomegranateThe Wonderful variety is known for its unique combination of superior antioxidants, delicious taste and deep crimson color.
  • Throughout history, the pomegranate has been revered as a symbol of health, fertility and rebirth.

I have only ever tried the POM juice once, and that was over this past Summer when I won a giveaway from Julie for one free bottle.  I got the blueberry and LOVED it!

On this weekend’s shopping trip I picked up a bottle of the original flavor.  I’ve enjoyed it as a spritzer but look forward to trying it out in actual recipes and other drink concoctions.  Yum!

I so want to win that contest! But I'm such a terrible cooker/baker. ((hangs head))

But ask me about Eating Olympics. Does POM have any eating competitions? I can hope, right?

I heart pom. I was just sent a bunch of coupons for the Pom Tea, and it's SOOO Delicious! My first free bottle is the Pom wildberry white tea, and it's fantastic! full of goodness and only 70 cal for the whole bottle!!

When I got my regular POM coupons a while ago, I did what do, and made spritzers with Soda...yum! A little tart, but good.

Man, I guess I've got to break down and buy some of this stuff. It is soooo expensive but it sounds like the benefits outweigh the purchase price.

Are you going to enter that contest? You should. You make up great food combos. $4000 US is nothing to scoff at!
