Whoooops!

Where is my brain?  I’ve been in a fog for a couple of days, and apparently it’s carried forward.  I totally forgot about blogging.  Bad girl!

I also forgot to remove the cushion from my deck chair yesterday (I keep it indoors overnight) and of course it has been raining all night and day, so needless to say it’s a bit waterlogged out there now. 

I set my alarm to get up with FH and drive him to work this morning, but low and behold when it went off he had already left.  I guess because we didn’t officially discuss it and he went to sleep before I did he didn’t want to wake me up to find out if I was driving.  Of course, I wound up rolling over and going back to sleep so missed my morning workout.  Looks like I’ll be dragging my bum over to the gym after work instead.

For breakfast I obviously had to partake is some more of my yummy fresh berries.  Raspberries and blueberries with homemade whip cream.

 

Along with a blueberry chia muffin and some coffee.  For some reason today’s coffee is particularly tasty! Love it when that happens.  :)

Lots of work to muddle through, just like every Monday.  Plugged along with my coffee and water, until my tummy grumbled for lunch.  Since it’s cooled off considerably today (like I had to pull out the duvet last night, and went around closing windows today) I wanted something toasty.

Toasted ww bread with spicy hummus, extra lean turkey and spinach.  Served with fresh peas in the pod, and a couple of yellow plums.  Perfectly ripe today!

In other exciting news Angie, Lynn and I were all Tweeted by The Coast today to receive free tickets to the Halifax premiere of Food Inc. tomorrow night.  So excited that we were chosen, and even more excited to finally see the movie and judge for myself everything I’ve heard about it.  It will be especially fun to compare notes with the other Haliblogger gals!
