Empty Nest

T-minus one hour til the extra furry beasts go home.  It’ll be sorta sad to see them go, but a delight to have my kitty back to normal and to get a full night’s sleep again!  No more cat scraps at 2am and no more doggie pee breaks at 6am.  Wooooooooo.

Today has been work work work all day.  Hump Day!

I tried to start out on the porch with my coffee this morning…the sun is out, but it was still too cool and breezy…so back in I came.

PC BM multigrain flax bagel with Cinnamon Raisin PB and a side of local yellow plums.  Yum Yum.

At 1:40 I realized that I only had 20 minutes to make and eat lunch before my conference call, so I basically just opened the fridge and started grabbing.  Turned out great!

2 x small ww tortillas with spicy hummus, extra lean turkey, tomatoes, cukes, and yellow peppers.

The last *sniff sniff* of the fresh peas on the side.  Must.find.more.

Happily, my boss had another meeting this afternoon so we were able to keep our call to under 2 hours this week.  It’s always a monumental occasion when that happens!  We asked him to start scheduling other meetings at that time every week so we can always finish our call quickly. hehe.

So I actually had time for an afternoon snacky.  Of course I went straight for the fresh raspberries.  Still so sweet and deeeeeelish.

Not sure what the agenda is for tonight.  Once the extra pets are gone, I think I’ll go to the gym or at least for a nice long walk.  Dinner will be something to do with the turkey sausages I thawed out…probably salad because that’s how I roll.  :)
