um, well ya, so I’m late…sue me! I had a lot more important things to post about (sorry honey)….
But yup, we did have Pizza Sunday. It was FH’s turn to pick (the plan is one week I pick, one week he picks…so I did the asparagus pizza the first time and this was his choice).
Unfortunately I was on a plane on the way home from Toronto so I haven’t a clue how he made his pizza, but it was deeeelish. Yummy, doughy, crispy crust topped with two kinds of meat, mushrooms, sauce, and about 2/3 pound of mozza (no, I’m not kidding…when he says double cheese he means it!)
It was the perfect night for a “non-healthy” pizza dinner. I was exhausted from my big city weekend and happy to have someone else cook me some tasty comfort food.
I ate one big square…then went back for another half square.
Good job FH!
I guess it’s my turn again this weekend. I still have a ball of Jenna’s pizza dough in my freezer, so now I just need to brainstorm some fun and healthy toppings!

I am SOOO hungry right now and that looks amazing. *drools*
that looks like some FANTASTIC comfort food!!!!
One of my favorite pizza's is either: goat cheese, chicken and red pepper (stolen from Amy!!) or mediterranean with feta, onions, peppers (NO GREEN for Miss Jaime!) and lots of oregano (OOPS and pesto on the base!)
OR mix a little BBQ sauce and caramalize some onions as a sauce and top with mixed cheese and some chicken, SUPER simple, but SOOOOO tasty (BBQ chicken pizza OBVIOUSLY!) and you could add whatever other veggies you like!!!
Oh god I can't look!!!!
that looks fabulous!
from a not so traditional perspective, FH and I made this the other night:
pizza dough
sauce
in a pan with olive oil cook garlic, shallots and a few strips of procuttio.
Add spinach to warm
Top pizza with spinach procuttio topping and lite ricotta cheese (and a small sprinkling of mozza if you want)
it was delish!
That looks FANTASTIC! I love homemade pizza :D
wow that looks amazing. pizza is one of those foods where you should splurge and just eat it less.
