Wet Laundry

Well, FH is gone. Boooooooo! Six weeks....he won't be back until May-29th. Argh. Yes I am used to this, but it doesn't mean I have to like it! I have lots to keep me busy...thank God...but it still sucks to be without my honey.

Got up extra early this morning to drop FH and his coworker off at the ship, only to realize that all of my gym clothes were still sitting in the washing machine. oooops. I mean, not just my pants or one top, but all three of my bottoms and both of my supportive workout tops. I didn't even have something ugly or ill fitting I could have used. Sort of annoying, as I usually use my workout to help burn off some of the blues from dropping FH off for these silly long sails.

So instead I took myself to Starbucks! haha, of course. A grande vanilla non-fat Americano misto always help take the sting out of a crappy morning (sorry no camera with me this morning). I sat for about 45 minutes sipping my coffee and reading my book. It helped. But I still need a good sweat....later for sure.

As I'm sure you can understand I didn't take the time to post dinner last night so I could hang out with FH instead. He was still feeling super crappy so we ran our errands and then just stopped at the grocery store to bring home some dinner. He wanted more chicken noodle soup, and got a sandwich to go with it. I opted for sushi...spicy California Rolls and spicy tuna rolls. Pretty good for supermarket sushi.

After dinner, we may have taken care of the rest of the Easter candy. At least now it's gone and I don't have to deal with it any more. One of these holidays I will have to attempt to resist the temptation to buy that junk just because it seems like the festive thing to do!

I did discover this yummy English Toffee tea the other day though, so I made a cup of that and it helped kill the sweets craving.

I love the picture of the sushi being held with the chop sticks!

I buy those every now and then. We should plan another sushi GTG :-)

aw, i'm sorry he's gone again - will there ever be a time when he doesn't have to go away?

I'm up for a sushi GTG anytime Angie!

Eury: eventually one day...but he actually likes the actual job, just not the crazy schedule he seems to have ended up with. He could apply for a different kind of job on dry land, but I don't think he'd like it as much. It will be tougher when we have kids...that's for sure.
