Home is Normal

The boxes are slowly getting fewer and fewer around here.  I unpacked the final kitchen box today.  Last night I hung all of my clothes in the closet.  This afternoon I took some things down to my storage room.  Really I just need to finish the living room but that requires the purchase of a few furniture pieces.  Until then I’m spending a lot of time at the dining room table and in my bed.

Since it’s feeling a lot like home my meals are getting more normal.  There’s a breakfast, a lunch, and a dinner.  There’s a simple snack.  There are stretches done on the hallway floor.

Home is normal.  :)  Good for me, probably boring for you!

What I know for sure is boring for you is my lack of groceries.  Another half Squirrelly bagel with pb & Supercrack…

Coffee in my memory mug.  I miss Amy-pants and my other bloggie girlies!

Breakfast for lunch.  Kashi with blueberries and almond milk…

Not surprisingly I was hungry in the afternoon.  Half a banana did the trick.

Went out to run errands.  Forgot two of my errands but came home with iced coffee!  :)

Now that I have the big silver bowl back in rotation I’m happy to use it a lot!  So another bigass salad for dinner tonight.

Organic baby spinach, carrots, radishes, farm fresh cherry tomatoes, and goat’s milk feta…

Drizzled with EVOO, sprinkled with salt & pepper, and topped with half of a deeeeeeelish turkey burger…

This turkey burger was purchased pre-made from Thrifty Foods.  I don’t know exactly what they put in there but it was sure tasty!  Definitely included rice and cranberries.  Grilled up on The Griddler.  Totally looking forward to eating the other half of that giant patty tomorrow.  :)

After dinner included another trip out to the mall in search of nice patio chairs…fruitless.  Boooo.  I ate dinner on my patio tonight…it was lovely but I need good chairs!  Tomorrow for sure.

Dessert was a few more unpictured chocolately cookies.  Dangerous little buggers to have on hand.

This weekend I promise I’ll stock the pantry a little better so I have something more interesting for you all!

Your meals look delicious, almost licking the screen as it is almost lunch time here :)

I know those cookies, they're sold here in Holland too and are called "Scholiertjes" If you have had 1 you can't stop eating them that's why I don't buy them that often :)

Turkey burgers look good! Think I could re-create them? I've got a package of turkey in the freezer. :)

I miss Amy and the rest of the girls too.

I got nice inexpensive(not plastic!!) deck chairs from the Superstore and they are really comfy and look nice...(not every store has same selection though!)
