I haven’t actually found my calendar yet (likely in the box marked office that is serving as a place holder for the spot my future new desk will occupy) but if memory serves it was about this time LAST MONTH that I last made it to the gym.
Bloody hell.
Even though yesterday’s massage seemed to have hit all of my sore spots my leg is still numb from my returned pain in the ass (glute muscle) so it’s proving to be difficult to dive feet first into the gym again. Gah.
In the meantime I can eat healthier than I have been. Not that the road trip eats were awful, but I was very much looking forward to fresh veggies, fruit, fibre and the return of the green smoothie!
In the KA yesterday: ice, small overripe banana, 4 strawberries, 1/2 scoop Amazing Meal, 2 handfuls organic baby spinach, drizzle of honey, 1/2 cup Unsweetened Original Almond Breeze…
Lunch involved beautiful heirloom cherry tomatoes…
Turned into a simple tomato salad with EVOO, fresh basil, coarse salt and ground pepper…
Served alongside another toasted half Squirrelly bagel with Sabra crack hummus and sliced cucumbers…
Lunch was light on the protein so an afternoon snack of crunchy peanut butter was needed. Served on an apple because eating straight from the jar doesn’t fit with my new healthy eating plan. :)
After work I hit an exhausted wall. Headache set in from sitting at the dining room table with my laptop. Definitely need to make sure I buy a desk this weekend! I laid down to rest my head and slept for 2 hours…guess my adventures are catching up with me!
I woke up to this little fella on my tree…
Dinner was simply leftovers of last night’s first meal…
Enjoyed alongside a gorgeous sunset view from my balcony…
And a daily dose of chocolate. Hey…I might not be working out, but I’m not dead. ;)

Petit Ecolier cookies are HANDS DOWN my favourite cookies of all time.
They are so good!!!
Congratulations on your amazing trip, your new place, and being back in BC!!! I loved following along.
What an amazing view of the sunset you have! So pretty!
I keep walking by those heirloom tomatoes in the store and not picking them up, but I think you've convinced me! Yummy!
You have a stunning view from your balcony, how high are you?
I feel like the laziest person alive. I've been in my 'new place' three months & I haven't unpacked or set up my place. dont stress.
It'll take me a year to get situated properly.
