Olympic Edition!
Did you know it’s only 14 days until the Opening Ceremonies for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics?! Crazy!! I can’t believe how quickly the time has approached!

I searched high and low around Halifax but came up empty handed multiple times while trying to get my hands on a pair of the much coveted red mittens! Amy offered to send me a pair from Ottawa, but her hubby kinda “borrowed” them. haha. So I sent out a Twitter plea, which Tarilyn answered…and 2 days later I had not one, but two pairs of these awesome mitties at my door!
Two pair? Why would I need two pair, you ask?
Well one for me, and one for you silly people!! :)

FUN!!! Well if we're talking winter olympics I would say hockey is my favourite although I will be watching some of every event, I'm sure.

Can't wait for the winter Olympics - if I had to pick a favorite, off the top of my head, I'd say downhill skiing. Whichever kinds - moguls, jumping, the back and forth stuff with the flags... whatever the technical name for that is! I'm in awe of the athlete's skills.

I have to pick just one? Hmmm....downhill skiing. I'm in awe of how fast they fly down the hill. I'm more of a blue square run, slow-swooshing kind of skier! But I also love curling. That's what happens when you grow up in a small Alberta town!

i watch any of the sports but the opening and closing ceremonies are my favorite.
Well, Jaime, the mittens are absolutely adorable! My favorite part of the Olympics is the bobsled, speed skating, snowboarding and yes, figure skating... Living in Colorado, I kinda have to like the snowboarding. My youngest daughter met Shaun White in college.
I don't have a favourite, but I would <3 me some mittens!

Wow, these mittens are SO incredibly hard to find! And I've heard knock-offs are popping up in Vancouver too!
My favourite Olympic sport is definitely watching the hockey finals (with Canada playing, obviously!). I also like the speed skating.
I'm getting a lot of tweets about these mittens. I have a pair, so I won't enter, but I'm sitting at my desk, looking out over the "Hockey Night in Canada" street hockey tournament happening outside the BC legislature, and there is a team in playing in Canadian Olympic jerseys and people wearing the mittens... I can see them from across the inner harbour.
Oh, and I'm so looking forward to Ice skating and all the drama that goes along with that!
My favorite winter olympic sport to watch is either Speed Skating or Alpine Skiing. My favorite winter olympic sport to do is nordic skiing. Either way, these mittens would keep me warm.

I love the Olympics, so it's hard to narrow it to one sport. I think I'd go with pairs figure skating, though, because it's so cool to see them in synch. Speed skating and skiing are pretty fantastic, too, though.

My work is one of the official broadcasters for the Olympics so I'll be in the thick of it all. Exciting! Those mitts sure would help me look more Olympic. LOL...

I was going to say my favorite olympic sport was couch surfing but..I've always liked aerials and snowboarding. I do watch a bit of hockey too.

I can't imagine how anyone could throw themselves head first on a track like that. Always exhilarating to watch since it's not something I'd ever have the guts to do. And of course, I love Olympic hockey as well!

Speed skating! Actually one of the things that cemented my love for Shaun when we first started dating was finding out he used to speed skate when he was younger. So cool!

Can I enter if I am in the U.S.? If not, that is ok. I love watching mens hockey! My son plays snowbelt hockey.. his number is 87 so he actually thinks that he is Sid the Kid. lol.

I love any winter olympic sport, even curling. My fave is prob bobsled or luge, or any crazy fast sport that i'd never be crazy enough to try.

If I had to choose just one favourite winter Olympic sport... I'd say x-country skiing- it's a tough sport! Of, course, I'll be watching hockey too... and love downhill skiing, speed skating...
