Two Hours and Counting!

Since it’s a busy weekend I didn’t want to buy any extra groceries or thaw out anything new, so dinner was a mish-mosh of whatever I found in the fridge.  Mostly veggies that might not last through the weekend.

Steamed carrots and broccoli with melted mozza.

IMG_6460

Steamed asparagus with real buttah.

IMG_6458

Roasted sweet potato moons, with hummus for dipping.

IMG_6459

Roasted mushrooms and red onion seasoned with Montreal Steak Spice.

Random assortment but super yummy!

Not a lot of protein in there, but enough to hold me over.  FH requested wine and snacks when he gets home so I am leaving room in my tummy.

Wine.  We don’t usually like Yellow Tail, but the Limited Edition Shiraz is much better than the regular every day varieties.

Nibblies.  Extra Old White Cheddar and cacciatore salami.

Look at this freaking awesome breadCheddar & Onion Sourdough.  *drool*

Cute little pretzles and crackers.  I really bought em for me!  :)

He’s in the air right now on his connection from Toronto.  Two-ish hours from now we’ll be comfy on the couch with all of these treats.

Two months is a long effing time.

Amen.

Hehehe we were commenting on each other's blogs at the same time!

Go and get your man!!! Woohooo!!

I didn't get very far on my water challenge. The next thing I knew I was being ordered around in a panic and I was at the federal court filing documents :-(

Looks like a fantastic way to share the evening. Two months in a effffing long time, I agree.

I hope you enjoy every minute of your time together. :)

I hope we don't hear from you for the next day or so!

I mean that in the "spend loving connection time with your man" sort of way.

Focus on each other. You are a better woman than me...I don't like leaving mine overnight anymore!

Happy Reunion!!! Enjoy being in the arms of your sweetie. You've got an awful lot of time to make up for. I agree with Wonder Woman - I don't expect any updates for a while and that's perfectly okay ;)
