Get.it.done.
That’s today’s theme.
There’s stuff that I am unwilling to do this weekend, so today’s the day! Combined with a busy workday, it’s kept me on my toes.
But first things first… Lookie what just arrived from my awesome Mama!!
Perty early birthday flowers!!! My Mom knows me well. Pink, green and tropical!! haha, and do you see that they came in a coffee mug? I think we now have an official birthday mug for my collection (unless one day there’s a Starbucks birthday mug…LOL)!
Thanks Mom!!
Before that, I went for a quick run and dropped off Elizabeth’s package at the post office for Project American Exchange. So fun!! You’ll have to wait til she gets it to see what I sent. bwahahhaaa.
Since I was already one suburb over dropping off the package, I decided to start my run from a different spot along my usual trail. Road construction held me up for a bit, so I only had about 20 minutes left…so 2km was all I could squeeze in. Better than no km!
But before that…there was breakfast! More peanut butter and banana toast…but after Nicole commented yesterday about putting honey in the mix I dug out my Bee’s Knees PB.
With coffee…
Then lunch after the run. Last night’s couscous jazzed up even more!
I roasted leftover pineapple tidbits, 1/4 chopped Honeycrisp apple, pomegranate seeds with a drizzle of maple syrup and a big shake of cinnamon.
Added some almonds at the end.
Nom nom nom!!
I really wanted one of my cupcakes too…but made myself do a water chugging challenge first. Watch for #waterlogged on Twitter! Amy and Angie saw me call it out and joined in. The goal is to drink down 1 litre of water in under 15 minutes. I know I’m dehydrated when I can pound it down in 8 minutes.
Then I got to enjoy my cupcake!
FH is in at midnight tonight, so it’s time to get cracking on the rest of these chores and finish work for the weekend.
