Another outdoor run success! Yaaieeee. I attribute it to…
- running at an embarrassingly slow pace :)
- crisp cool weather
- quiet day on the trail
- a couple days of rest
- Lady Gaga at the beginning of my playlist
Today I bumped up to 4km. Including walking warm-up, walking cool-down, stretching, and the run I was back in the car in under 40 minutes (approximate based on iPod). I’m soooo pleased!
Before I headed off, I had my half-caf…
And an Amazing Grass smoothie…
In the blender today: frozen blueberries, 1/2 banana, 8 oz vanilla Almond Breeze, splash water, Amazing Grass Chocolate Infusion Amazing Meal.
Another deeeeeeelish winner!
After my run I added on a few pushups, crunches, and squats…the chowed down the last two Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffins…I was shaking I was so hungry!
Now I’m off for a quick doctor’s appointment…then tonight sushi and Nova Scotia Symphony with Angie and Lynn. Fun!
Today’s to-do list is short due to being out of the house a lot…

Great run! You rock! Have fun tonight.
Jealous! Have fun tonight :D
Great job.
Whoot!! Good job on the 4K. Music always does it for me too. Sometimes when I think I can't run any further, a great song comes on and my energy is back.
Cya in a few.
You're doing great! I found that the "embarassingly slow pace" was key for me when I first started trying to run outdoors. Honestly, I'm still embarassingly slow, but who cares! It's a great accomplishment!!
Great job girlie! No such thing as an embarrassing slow pace at all. Or at least that's what I tell myself! lol
Music makes ALL the difference in outdoor runs :-)
ok, the fact that there are no bloggies to get together with in cowtown is really starting to get annoying when I hear about all the fun you girls are having, wanna move?
Yay for a good run! I have Beautiful, Dirty, Rich and Just Dance on my shuffle for running. :)
I'm so excited: we finally got Honeycrisp apples here.... happy dance!
