Dear Mother Nature…blech.

So I was laying in bed this morning, thinking about getting up…when I heard a car drive by and thought to myself “that sure sounds like slush on the ground”.   And sure enough…this is what I got up to!  SNOW!

Effing hell.  Yesterday I was running outside in the crisp air and blue skies wearing only a sweater and a scarf.  Bugger.  At least it didn't require any shovelling as it’s the wet kind of snow that seems to be melting away pretty much on it’s own.

I gladly cuddled my coffee mug this morning.  Half-caf with blend cream and demerara…best way to enjoy coffee!

As bad luck would have it today wasn’t a day that I could hibernate indoors and avoid the snow.  Murphy’s Law that I would have another doctor’s appointment and had to venture out.  I wanted to allow extra time to get there, so opted for an Amazing Grass Green SuperFood protein bar for breakfast.

Chocolate Peanut Butter.  nom nom nom.  :)

Although if you didn’t tell me it was choco-PB I wouldn’t have known.  It’s tasty but peanut butter isn’t the flavor I noticed.

Lotsa protein…probably more than my average breakfast so I’m seeing how long it keeps me satisfied.

Now I’m putting my nose to keyboard and stomping away as much work as I can.  Project Energize project for today is to make sure no loose ends for work are floating around heading into the weekend.

What’s your project for today?

PS:  Thanks for all the hair compliments!  You guys are too sweet.  *giggles*

Ahhh! Snow sucks!

I'm trying to get all of my assignments out of the way before I go to work in 3 hours, so I don't have to do them over the weekend.

Fun times.

That's what we woke up to last week. Ug-ly! It'll melt though.

Is the inside of that bar really green? LOL. I hope it tasted better than it looked.

Glad you had fun on sushi/symphony night! Jealous.

Looking at my sunny Toronto day, crossing fingers and toes that it stays.

And - holy geez - it never dawned on me, in all the Greens bars I've seen on blogs over the years ... that they're GREEN inside. That's strangely kind of awesome.

I couldn't believe all the snow when I woke up! Thank goodness it is rain now!

the traffic was horrific as it can get this morning! Hopefully your am drive wasn't too bad!

Boo for snow!

That bar looks...interesting.

Hmmm, the only thing I really did for Project Energize today was go to the chiropractor (but many good things have the potential to come from me getting my back healed if it's possible).
