…in TV land anyway. :) Yes, I totally gave up my Friends-esque post title just to share that little gem. I heart me some Gleeeeee and Eastwick.
Hi, I’m Jaime and I’m a TV dork. *giggles*
Maybe I’m a little punch-drunk from my THREE hour conference call today. That’s what happens when we skip a week…lots of bases to cover. I ate a chocolate granola bar, drank too much water (bad idea to launch a Twitter water challenge right before the call!!), and tried to take funny self portraits for you guys.
Not looking good…
As predicted, because of that marathon call I didn’t finish work until after 6pm which buggered up my plan of doing a gym/yoga combo night. I had to give up either my run or my yoga…so I opted to ditch yoga AGAIN because I can do a podcast at home if I really want to. Running can’t be made up at home.
- 10 minute warm-up on rowing machine
- 25 minutes on treadmill – 5 x 4:1 I did it! 1.80 miles
- Arm love: 3 x sets tricep pulldowns, bicep curls, shoulder presses
The gym was crazy busy again and not a mat to be had so I skipped my core work…I’ll make it up during my midnight yoga.
Since I had a HUGE lunch, I opted for a light dinner. Salad and snacks. nom nom nom.
In the salad: mixed baby greens, pomegranate arils (learned a new word today from all of the lucky bloggers visiting POM this week!), chopped Honeycrisp, lemon juice, s&p, and a drizzle of olive oil.
With melty brie, lean turkey, and crackers.
Followed with this evil little fellow. Don’t worry, he’s filled with PB. I took care of him.
Then too much TV. I’m so totally a Gleek, it’s ridiculous. :)
And tea and cookies. Late July cookies to be exact. Deeeelish.
After Eastwick I’m going to head upstairs for some yoga before bed…hence midnight yoga. I’m think Yoga for Back Pain from yogadownload.com…my shoulder needs some love.

Everyone keeps talking about Glee and I've never seen it (maybe a little worried that I'll get addicted?)
I'm so excited to make some awesome salad creations!
PS...you rock!
I bet I can take that tv geek title away... every year I make a tv schedule, seriously I chart out my fave shows what days, times and channels they are on and program it all into my pvr so I don't miss a thing. Huge reason why I work out in the morning or a lunch, at night I love to be a couch potato, horrible I know but I love my tv! Glee rocks! I was so excited all day long yesterday thinking about Glee as I had heard prior to the show that they were going to do the Bust A Move thing.. LOL yep tv geek I am.
Three words. Yumm, yumm, and yumm! Hope the yoga helped your neck!
Mmmm, melty brie looks yummy! And it's nice to know the proper name for pomegranate seeds. Arils, huh?
I saw those little chocolate pumpkins in Shopper's Drug Mart, but I chose Ghirardelli squares instead. Are they as good as they look?

And yeah, what ABOUT Mr. Shu and Emma...I can't wait for that to all come together!!!!!!
