Pitfall to working at home: neglecting to leave the house at all.
I’m sure any of you other folks that work from home or stay at home to care for children know about this. Some days there’s just no reason to leave the house…and then by the second, third or fourth day you realize that the lack of fresh air and vitamin D might be the cause of your slumpy mood or general laziness. This is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Only one day in the house and I lost all motivation to go out in the evening…hence Day Two of my workout plan went in the tank. Gah!
So today I’ve already gone for a walk around the neighborhood! And this has left me refreshed, ready to tackle a busy work day, and chomping at the bit to hit the gym and yoga tonight. WooT!
Before I headed out, there was coffeeeeeee…
And breakfast…
Liberte Svelt organic vanilla yogurt with sliced banana and Kashi Honey Almond Flax.
People around the neighborhood are really tackling the Halloween decorations already…I think I’ll take pics tomorrow! In the meantime, here’s my cute porch decorations:
Lunchy Leftovers: having a big lunch to prepare for my workout madness this evening. Don’t want to be weighed down for my run or yoga and don’t want to be ravenous when I finally eat around 8:30.
Thankfully there’s last night’s leftovers. Not pretty, but deeeeelish.
Especially when I top it with parmesan cheeeeese.
And now…the dreaded weekly conference call…save meeeeeee! ;)

I get buggy if I stay in the house too long! Sometimes, I just stand around outside to get some fresh air! I must look lost to anyone who sees me!
Yummy eats and good luck with your workout tonight :)
I work in a small office and I try to get out once a day for some fresh air. Perks me up in the afternoon.
I miss that pot with the creepy dolls in it.....and your house, and you....
Cute decorations!
Aww love the porch. So cute.
I know what you mean about not getting out. Sometimes you just have to pop your head out for a few minutes. Glad you got out for a walk! The couch is totally controlling me this week so I'm glad your post made me want to get up and get movin!
I also go buggy if I stay in the house all the time, but I can rarely think of anywhere to go!
Hey, some of us just stay home. Period. Do cats count for kids? That's all I got.
