Sorry people, today was another quiet day with nothing much to report. Slept in a bit this morning because I had trouble falling asleep last night (no book to read, no late night blogging, not tired when I went to bed…bah) so lost any opportunity to hit the gym before my weekly conference call. Not a huge deal because my bad shoulder is giving me grief today anyway. Tomorrow is a new day!!
(haha, how often do we type/think that? geeeeze.)
Anywho…
Breakfast was simply some Foxhill vanilla yogurt with half a sliced banana and some Kashi Honey Almond Crunch.
Yaaieee for the return of bananas…I quit buying them because the fruit fly situation is out of effing control this year…and bananas are the one fruit you can’t stash in the fridge when the flies come around. So I guess this is a plus to the cooler weather.
Lunch was really late because I forgot to put something together before my conference call, so about 2/3 of the way in I took my cordless phone downstairs with me and muted my side of the call while I microwaved some leftovers.
And grabbed a chocobran on my way by. :)
We decided on breakfast for dinner since I couldn’t seem to find anything in the fridge that had enough to serve three people. I guess I didn’t plan for Mom’s visit very well in the meal department. Meats are always bought in multiples of two!
FH is a breakfast guy so he cooked up the meal while I finished up work for the day. Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, Johnsonville sausages and toast. nom nom nom.
That was it for me. So full from dinner (and I didn’t even eat it all!) that snacks never even crossed my mind. I had a cup of tea and that was all I needed.
And now that lack of sleep from last night is catching up with me…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Cooler weather? Here, it's 22 above and it's 9:30 at night. My house is an oven. Of course, we had a fairly cool summer up til now. Crazy weather!
Those chocobrans look good - going to have to try them one of these days.
I love breakfast for dinner!
I actually make 24 muffins out of a chocbran recipe. 1 pt each! They are just bigger than bite sized but they're enough to satisfy any sweets craving I have. Thanks for reminding me about this recipe. I haven't made it in a long time but I have the ingredients on my shopping list for my next big shop.
