Dressed for Success

Good morning! In an effort to get a lot accomplished today, I made a point of actually getting dressed, washing my face, brushing my teeth, starting my make-up and hair and keeping my personal blog reading, Facebooking, and emailing to a minimum this morning. I tend to lose a lot of time to non-work computer projects and generally sit around in my jammies half of the day (all of the day!). I have a busy week and decided that feeling human was the best way to jumpstart myself. So far, so good!

haha, that sounds like I'm some sort of PJ Slacker or something. Honestly people, it's just the hazards of working from home...no work clothes or make-up necessary.

I had pre-set the coffee maker last night, so when I woke up I could smell it brewing...nice thing to wake up to! Whoever invented the coffee maker time was a genious. Before tackling the clothing, washing, brushing of the day I enjoyed my first cuppa joe while sorting emails and getting my work to-do list prepared.

Once I felt human, I put together this delicious parfait-in-a-bowl. Liberte Svelt vanilla yogurt, topped with chopped strawberries, sliced 1/2 banana, 6 chopped almonds, 1 tsp flax seed. And I tossed the last date on there for something chewy. Deeeelish.

Served with my second cup of coffee, of course.

The day is shaping up like this...

11:00 - finish blogging
11:15 - 12:15 - work efficiently, two projects
12:15 - 12:30 - straighten hair, make snack
12:30 - 1:30 - run errands
1:30 - 1:45 - lunch and afternoon blogging
1:45 - 3:00 - more work, one big project
3:00 - 3:30 - walk around the neighborhood (weather permitting)
3:30 - 5:30 - finish work, snack, prep dinner
5:30 - hopefully head for yoga
5:45 - 7:00 - warm yoga with Angie (work permitting of course)
7:00 - bed - shower, dinner, online banking, American Idol (damn that Adam kid has me hooked!)

I love that you scheduled time to straighten your hair :-)

I "hopefully" will see you at yoga! :-) I'll be there! I can't wait! I'm sore from Sunday's run still! It's been far too long since I've gone!
