Well at least the snow is almost gone!

Holy torential downpour Batman! Last night I mentioned some crazy wind and rain action. Well, within minutes of that post the HIGH winds kicked in and I felt like the house was going to pull right out of the ground and land me in a soggy Oz. We have a huge bedroom window and the rain smashing against it was so loud it kept me awake for over 2 hours....then woke me up two more times through the course of the night. Insane. However, the massive piles of snow that have been a permanent fixture on our street are now pretty much gone. It's still dismal but at least the obvious signs of Winter are washing away....

Due to the restless night of sleep, I slept in today...until NOON! Oooops. I actually have a fairly hefty to-do list so it looks like I'll have to do some prioritizing as there's no way I'll get it all done today. It doesn't help that I started out the day by lounging with my coffee on the couch reading Eclipse for an hour. :) But now I'm showered and ready to take on the world. I'll do a few things around the house while my hair dries, then head out to run errands (poor kitty needs new litter BAD!), try to fit in a trip to the gym, then come home and finish up the chores. Yes, my Saturday evening will involve working out and vaccuming....woooooooo, party!

Breakfast was a mixed bowl of cereal. A) I was too lazy/tired to cook/prepare anything. B) I've let the open boxes of cereal get out of hand. Time to start using them up! In the bowl was 1/2 cup each of Barbara's Cinnamon Puffins, Kashi Go Lean Crunch, and Organic Daybreak. Topped with about 2/3 cup unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze.
I sipped a second cup of coffee while polishing off a few more chapters and enjoying yet another Choco PB Oat Bar. I promise to eat some fruit and veggies later. ;)

I am so converted to Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze now that I drink it right out of the carton and don't buy milk anymore (except chocolate for hubby). I bet your cereal combo would have been good!

Nice mug! :-D
