FH informed me via email that a close co-worker's wife had a baby girl this morning. Since their ship is supposed to sail for a couple of days of trials tomorrow we have to go out this evening to get them a little giftie (no, the new papa doesn't have to go on this sail...but, they are making him go on the six week sail that commences on the 14th...lame). So I'm going to have to be creative with my activity schedule today because there is no way I'm getting a workout in before dinner and the trip to the mall. Potentially I'll be running at 9:00 tonight...although I hope to come up with a better plan.
For lunch I decided to cook up this can of soup that has been hanging out in our pantry for a while:
Not very appetizing coming out of the can let me tell you. Nor did it taste very good on the first try, since it has no salt added. I jazzed it up with salt, pepper, salsa, & light sour cream. That totally did the trick....yummy!

Served with a veggie & hummus wrap on a small whole wheat tortilla. Huge schmear of hummus, green onion, matchstick carrots, chopped baby tomatoes, and some mixed lettuce right at the end.
I'm stuffed. And now I have to sit through my weekly conference call. Meh.

I gotta go and pick up a baby gift for hubby's biz partner's baby that's waiting to be born any day now. That's brutal that the guy has to sail!
I love the baba ganouj from the brand that made that hummus! Well I love their hummus too :-)
Salsa does make everything better!! I feel the same about mustard.
loooove salsa!!!
