Down Under Meets the West Coast

Remember the big pile of loot from the lovely Miss Laura all the way from Australia?!

Each item was individually wrapped with Hello Kitty!

And the whole box was filled with festive glitter confetti!

When I got the package I was in the middle of a supremely busy day.  I didn’t want to just tear into everything without taking time to see what everything was so I decided to wait…except for one thing. :)

I knew by the shape of the box exactly which little treat I just HAD to open right away.  You see, this whole international exchange started when Laura offered to add a special treat to my well-known collection…

An Australia Starbucks mug!!!

It’s absolutely one of my new faves!  Who doesn’t want to drink coffee with a kangaroo?!!!  Yay!!!

Later Friday evening, once Cat had arrived and we had red wine in hand, I attacked the giant prezzie package.  Look at the insane amount of Aussie loot she sent!!

Cookies, crackers, cereal, coffee, chocolates…

The ultimate in Aussie foodie necessities…Vegemite.  I don’t promise to actually eat it.  haha.

Macadamia Nut butter, Heinz beanz, Outback Animal crackers…

My snack cupboard runneth over.  You’ll be seeing these items for weeks to come, I promise. :)

Thanks Laura!!!  This has been super fun…even if did cost each of us half of our life savings.  Someone needs to invent a transporter that delivers cheaper than Canada/Australia Post!!!
