Restored

Day Three Yoga complete.

Ah-Maze-Ing!!

Tonight’s class was at Breathing Space in their new location. Lovely naturally lit room!  The class of choice was…

Long, Slow, Deep
Longer held restorative postures in a heated room! The perfect combination for a deep release to create freedom through the connective tissues. Breath deep and enjoy the stillness while tapping into a deep inner peace.

It was fantastic.  Challenging but not too hard.  I really liked our instructor, Margot…she was informative in an easy to understand way and her adjustments were excellent.  Aaaand I sweat like crazy…holy detox Batgirl.  :)

Before I went I snacked on the other half of my sesame bagel, toasted with Dark Chocolate Dreams PB and a little more Supercrack

When I got home I was really hungry!  But in no mood to cook…so I went the quick and easy route with a snack plate

Hummus, multigrain Wheat Thins, carrots, probiotic cheese, and turkey wrapped pickles…

Complete with mucho water to rehydrate after that fabulous sweat session.

Sooooo much better than Girl Guide Cookies.  Sorry, Canadian girls but I might have to enlist Janna to send me US based troop cookies every year now.

Yay for a stress-free day!

What do you do to de-stress when life is getting you down?

When I need to de-stress I go for drinks with girlfriends, to the spa for anything or just have a long hot bath.

I the kind of person that really doesn't let things get to me. Life is too short to worry and in the end everything turns out fine.
When I do have a lot of things on my mind I hit the mall, retail therapy works for me.

Wow Claudia...that must feel great. I think it's pretty much impossible to not let some major life things get to you!! I like retail therapy too...however, when in a budget crunch due to said life changes I have to settle for mini spending sprees on yoga and Starbucks. :)
