Angie’s Pampered Chef party was a tasty, fun success. :) Our consultant prepared a Mexican Chicken Lasagna for us to demo a bunch of the equipment available for purchase and to show how the stoneware works even in the microwave!
It was yummy!
And Angie had lots of healthy snacks for us…
Bits and bites served as my lunch. Handy. :)
I’ll show you what I ordered when it comes in next week.
When I got home FH asked if I wanted to go to the movies so I decided just to make a salad for supper so I could indulge in movie popcorn!
Simply spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and celery drizzled with grapeseed oil and fresh cracked sea salt…
We saw 2012. I really only knew it was about the end of the world and had lots of special effects. I really enjoyed it but admittedly laughed most of the way through. They really went WAY over the top! I guess they decided that since it was a pretty impossible storyline that they might as well just push it over the limit of believability. Twas worth the 2.5 hours though!
On a separate note, why the heck did Grey’s this week jump from Thanksgiving to Christmas already?

I stumble across your blog and have been inspired by ya ever since! And now I see you are Grey's fan too!? Yay! :) This season's not really my favorite so far though. I wish they hadn't combine three holidays in one! Anyhoo...
glad to hear that they kind of made fun of themselves with it...one of my friends kids has himself worked up that the world will end in 2012...poor kid!!!
I THINK that was the last new Grey's until the new year??? I didn't like the transition either...but I think there are a few shows that aren't on for a few weeks!! SUCKY!
I know! I was so not ready to be watching Christmas stuff on Grey's last week. Grrr. Must be the last one until the new year...
I thought the Grey's thing was super odd too!
Im so behind.
In life (never been to a PC party!) and Greys (allll season is recorded :)).

Yup I hated the jump to xmas on greys. I bet that means re-runs til the new year.
Glad you came to the party and found stuff that you were interested in :-)
The lasagna from the party looked yummy...similar to the Mexican Layered Bake I made a couple of weeks ago. Salad looked delish! Funny isn't it, they make these movies with such amazing special effects then go overboard and then it totally negates the coolness of the effects so they don't seem real any more. Boo. :-(
