OK, that was lame. But really, where the hell is my motivation?
I have been lethargic, achey, headachey, lazy and whiney all week.
Maybe it’s the end of Summer blues?
On Monday morning after FH left for his hella-extended-40-day trip I came home and wrote a to-do list (as I do often, and always when I know I’m going to be on my own for a long time). Most of the list consisted of small things I could have banged off in a couple of days. There’s a separate shorter list of bigger projects, chores, etc that I will hopefully do during the boring evenings with no one to share the couch with.
I’ve barely even scratched the surface of the list. Gah.
Also, have you noticed…not one trip to the gym this week!?!! Sleeping in every morning, so then I can’t take the hour mid-day away from work. Then grumpy and tired following work, or whatever excuse will do.
Well folks, I just put on my workout gear in anticipation of the end of the work day. I can’t leave early because I have a lot to do today, but I figure if I’m already dressed and ready to go, I’ll actually go right after work.
Hold me to it!! Please!!
And after that I will tackle at least a couple of things on my list so that I’m not struggling through them on the weekend when I can be out having fun. Some of these can be done while watching TV, which is kinda mandatory tonight with the premiere of Grey’s Anatomy being on!! (I don’t even really watch Grey’s regularly, but the season finale was sooooo good that I can NOT miss the premiere!!)
Oh, and just because this is indeed a food porn blog…my breaky…
Coffeeeeee. Was there ever any doubt?
Toasted cinnamon raisin bagel top with a schmear of Becel. (Bagels were on sale for 99 cents, versus $4 for a loaf of good bread…)
Stonyfield Farms organic vanilla yogurt with a small sliced nanner.
And now to continue pounding through work things, and heat up some lunch!

You're just having a rough week with FH leaving and your mom going home. Totally natural.
Hope today is better and I'm sure after a trip to the gym, you'll be feeling much more like your beautiful, motivated self!!

Ooo. "Lethargic". That's my word, but I busted out of it's spell and I'm back on track. I think we all go through the high hills and low valleys of exercise love. You'll spring back like a wild woman!
You can do it!!You'll feel sooo much better after a workout:-) cc
You're at the gym by now, right??
Sunday night awaits!
You could cut yourself some slack, realize it's been awfully quiet at the house this week, and move on to that to do list! (or, we could go spend 3 hours at sbuxs making life better!)
You can do it :) You'll feel awesome afterward. And who knows? Maybe you'll find your motivation there.
Sometimes we all have an off week :)
There had BETTER be a post about you taking your skinny ass to the gym in the morning!!!
HAHA!! That was my tough love act, do you buy it???
Honestly girl, you are handling this whole situation better than most would...take some time to take care of yourself too, you deserve it!!!
