How to complete a long to-do list after finishing work late and making soup from scratch?
Workout at 9pm and hit the 24-hour grocery store! :)
After we last met I scratched a few things of my list like cleaning the bathtub and finishing the vacuuming…and had to add “do the dishes” after my little kitchen adventure.
Time was ticking away and I was worried I’d have to give up my workout, but then I remembered that Sobey’s is open all night so I switched things up and accomplished what I needed. Yaaaieeeee!
At the gym:
- 20 minute treadmill run
- 2 sets: squats on bosu, plie squats, lunges, reverse lunges, hamstring curls on the ball, and regular crunches.
- 1 minute plank
- Lotsa extra stretching
I left 5 minutes before closing…but I wasn’t the last person there! Whew.
Switched over the laundry when I got home, had a little relax with my water bottle and the TV, and had a hot, glorious shower.
I had to ditch the baking from my list (I bought granola bars for the week instead) and my self-pedicure will have to wait, but right now I’m settled in with the last of the pumpkin pie fudge (gasp!!), the PVR, and the stuff to give myself a manicure.
Not too shabby.
Of course, I probably won’t get to bed until 2am…but what’s new? ha.
